A drummer. Once had a drum kit but couldn't practise because our neighbour at the time was a miserable old sod and would complain about the noise!

Started very late really. I had my first bass when I was about 17 mainly because I was heavily into Level 42 at the time. I'd always liked the drums and was completley captivated by Mark Kings percussive style of playing. So not knowing anything about music at the time I tried to copy every bassline he wrote! Tried to run before I could walk, then spent the next 15ish years playing bits and pieces in the bedroom.

It's only the last couple of years that I have really knuckled down and learnt theory and gone back to basic's (no pun intended). I have still got a long way to go as I think the bass guitar is such a versatile instrument, in that it holds down the groove in one hand and the other it can be so melodic. Have a listen to Jaco Pastorius and you'll know what I mean

I have 4 Basses. My main Bass is a Spector Rebop. My practise Bass is an Acoustic made by Hudson. I have a fretless made by Tanglewood and another fretted made by Vintage (El cheapo).

Amplification wise, for live gigs I use a Hartke Bass rig consisting of Hartke HA3500 head, a Hartke 410 xl cab and a Hartke 115 xl cab - Brilliant! Oh, and I also have a Trace Elliot 65 Boxer practise amp.

I am very partial to a drop of Jack Daniels or Whiskey.

Has to be a mixed (doner/chicken) with salad, mint yoghurt sauce and chilli sauce - heaven!

Not telling because she might cover them up if she found out! and we can't have that can we!

Best place I have been to so far has to be California. Went there on my Honeymoon - yes, sorry girls, I'm married. Followed by the Canaries - great for some winter sunshine!

See above and take away at least 30!

If it was disguised as a Chicken Jhalferezi with pilau rice and a Keema nan then it would be one of them!

Now if it was disguised as a poppadom with some mint yoghurt sauce and mango chutney..........
