Well Davy calls me Stevie boy so I guess that's it!
 Jurassic!
In a barn apparently. My dad was always asking if I was born in one so I must have been!
It would read like an A-Z. I listen to everything from Blues to Jazz, Pop to Punk and Rock to Reggae. I may not like it all but there's always something to be learned from it. I think a lot is in my head but it has to have come from somewhere!
At the moment its U2, "How to dismantle an atom bomb".
Again, at the moment Kings of Convenience "Riot on an empty street".
Not possible (I'm a moody shit).
Groundhog Day. It reflects most of our lives; I've watched it loads of times and never tire of it....that's the point I suppose.
School nativity (age 8). I played Joseph on the first night then an ass on the second.....Musically it was the Beaufort Arms, Wootton Bassett in 1973 playing Beatles stuff in a trio....no drums! We cleared the place in minutes....but strangely still got paid!
Run Run Run by Jo Jo Gunne - from Rumblows.
I would have liked to have been anyone who made loads of money from making music, but I was too bone idle to do the ground work. I would however like to have the soul, skills and respect of Eric C.
Too many bands to mention, but I started by playing guitar in a Rock 'n' Roll band - there's a song there somewhere! The bass player committed the sin of getting too pissed on stage and collapsed. He got fired and I ended up playing bass for the rest of that gig and all future gigs. I found it easier to get work as a bassist so continued through the mainstream club/cabaret type bands like The Soul Destroyers and tribute bands such as Deff, Dumb and Blondie.
I consider myself very lucky to have played with Jen and the guys in About A Girl. I play a 70's reissue Fender Jazz Deluxe through a Trace Elliott mini stack, 250 head, 2 x 10 cab + 1 x 15 cab.
Full bodied red wine with me steak, sweet white wine with me curry, a pint of Guinness with me mates and a Woods rum to finish...cheers!
