About A Girl are delighted to announce that Gary Bridges has joined the band as our new bass player, replacing Steve who decided last year to leave Wiltshire for a new life in sunny Cornwall. We will miss the huge contribution Steve brought to the band but in Gary we have found a fantastic talent to take up the rhythm duties alongside Dave. Steve played his last gig with the band at the Olympiad in December and About A Girl went straight into full rehearsals with Gary in the New Year. We have all been hugely impressed with his 110% commitment and he has succeeded in breathing new life into some of our old favourites. We also hope to have a couple of brand new numbers in the set before our first gig with Gary at the Coopers Arms, Pewsey on Friday March 28th. This is definitely going to be one for your diary! | ||||
